On November 9th 2009, date as per postmarked, the NMPT was born in Toulon, a Belgian conceptual, quirky and playful movement, launched by a collective of the same name.
The movement highlights our dear potato; thus photographs, films, collections, publishing, ..., emerges, aiming in particular to represent – in own way – scenes of everyday life. NMPT members are researchers, so slip-up is considered as a creative process in itself.
Creation of meetings as much with artists, as with historians, scientists or farmers and chips sellers is our guideline. The NMPT quickly becomes a true place of exchanges and collaborations: the New Movement of Potato.
